SEKO Logistics joins premium industrial estate The YARDS, Kemps Creek
Altis Property Partners, a Barings company are pleased to announce SEKO Logistics, a global supply chain solutions specialist will be joining The YARDS, Kemps Creek, committing to a 10 year pre-lease agreement for a 30,581 square metre built-t0-suit facility.
Once complete, the new facility will comprise around 30,000 square metres of modern warehouse space with 18,860 square metres of storage areas and two offices and a dock office totalling 581 square metres. The design features full drive around truck access, 13 flush loading docks and 10 recessed loading docks to support business growth, ease of access and worker safety.
The YARDS recently achieved Australia’s first and highest possible 6 Star Green Star Communities rating for an industrial estate from the Green Building Council of Australia. The building is targeting a 6 Star Green Star Design & As-Built v1.3 rating and will include a minimum 100kW solar power system (with capacity for upgrade), 60,000L rainwater tank, two electric vehicle charging bays, secure bicycle parks and end-of-trip facilities for staff. More than 8,000 native plants have also been included in the facility’s surrounding landscaping.
