Allied Express joins Aware Super’s Altitude Logistics Estate
Altis Property Partners are pleased to announce Allied Express will be joining Aware Super’s Altitude Logistics Estate at Bankstown Airport. The leading courier and freight company has committed to a 10-year lease for a new 19,900 sqm premium warehouse and office accomodation space within the estate.
Allied Express will consolidate its NSW operations and its head office into this purpose-built distribution centre, increasing its ability to handle strong growth in e-commerce volumes.
Michelle McDowell, Managing Director Allied Express says, ‘over the past two years we’ve experienced rapid growth. With that in mind, access to central Sydney is a critical factor for us.’
The rise in e-commerce was fuelling demand for faster, reliable and more flexible delivery options and an increasing need for organisations to commit to centrally located, state-of-the-art distribution centres, noted Joseph Ajaka, project director at Altis Property Partners.
We look forward to this facility for Allied Express being fully operational end 2022.
Altitude Industrial Estate as managed by Sydney Metro Airports has three remaining buildings available across this 40 hectare site, ranging in size from 12,500sqm up to 22,000sqm. The estate is well placed for users who want to take advantage of the direct access to the M5 motorway, Sydney CBD, Port Botany and the new Western Sydney Airport.
